Lumio Level II - English Writing Syllabus

This Lesson is designed for childern (grade 2-4) with some forehand English learning experience, the level II course for Lumio English Basics. The average age of sutdents in this class is 9-10 years old, here is a biref outline about the course:

  1. Understand first person subject and its object form.
  2. Understand first person possessive adjectives and related sentence structures.
  3. Understand ‘Be’ verbs and related sentence structures.
  4. Understand the grammar rules for both the third person sigular and plural pronouns.
  5. Understand the grammar rules for present progressive tense and related sentence structures.
  6. Understand present indefinite tense and related sentence structures.
  7. Understand and distinguish between verbs, adjectives and nouns.
  8. Understand propositions and quantifiers.

Course Features：
Students are going to do a lot of sentence practices and writings to better understand the material. However, in order to make the online class more interesting, our teachers (mostly Chinese who study abroad in the U.S.) are going to adopt the American classroom teaching style, which is oriented in interaction and encouragement

Please reference the following requirements to determine if this is the right course for your child：

 - Student is proficient with the 26 Engligh alphabat.
 - Student is proficient in a few basic English greeting.(ex:hello, nice to meet you, good morning, etc.)
 - Student has studied English for more than half a year.
 - Student knows a few basic English vocabulary.(ex:apple, cat, dog, etc.)
 - Student is interested in learning more English grammar and futher improve their basic English writing skills.
